All sales are final upon transaction. Once a payment has been processed, it is non-refundable, except as outlined in this policy or in specific written agreements.
2. Membership Billing and Approval
We do not charge for membership unless it has been approved by our compliance team and fully activated. Any fees associated with membership will only be billed after approval and activation.
3. Refunds for Other Products and Services
Refunds for non-membership products and services are at our sole discretion. While we may consider refund requests, please note that all transactions are final unless an exception is granted.
4. Placement Fees and Contractual Guarantees
Placements are governed by the specific terms of the placement contract. Any guarantees or refund policies related to placement fees must be explicitly stated in writing within the placement contract. If such guarantees exist, they may supersede the terms outlined in this general billing and refund policy.
5. Policy Amendments
We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting to our website or other official communication channels.
Regarding Membership Dues
Top Engineer is a for-profit mission operated by Red Start Media, Inc., a Florida Corporation authorized to conduct any legal business in the United States of America and abroad. It is partially funded by Membership Dues and exists to serve the engineering community and the automotive, aerospace, and energy sectors through engineering talent acquisition services for top employers and engineering career management for top engineers.
These services leverage proprietary systems developed by our founder, James Beine, whose longstanding expertise in engineering recruiting drives our innovations.
All technology, infrastructure, and operational advancements are supported by membership dues from engineers, employers, and recruiters. These revenues are not a fee-for-service for placing engineers. Every job order is subject to its respective placement service contract. All business is conducted in writing with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
